This is Klemm KL-35D – an older resin kit in 1\/48 scale from Legato kits<\/a>, Czech Republic.\u00a0I say older because the products of the mentioned manufacturer reached significantly higher quality since the era of this (Klemm-like) kits. It is welcome by every modeller mainly when trying to keep the right wholeover geometry and symmetry of the kit. That also means the newer the model kit is, the less grinding, sanding and filling is needed (and vice versa).<\/p>\n

Main improvements I have made:<\/span><\/h2>\n

1\/ Resin inside of the cowling area had been removed, engine cooling openings were opened
\n2\/ Scratchbuilded engine came in place
\n3\/ Pilot’s and instructor’s belts were added and several cockpit details too
\n4\/ New speedometer Pitot-tube made of injection needles<\/p>\n

There are no decals used. All the insignia were drawn according to the photographs in scale on PC. The drawings were then plotted out into masks and airbrushed.<\/p>\n
